Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC (TCO) notifies customers of the following update regarding the Force Majeure impacting the James Massey Hub meter stations in North Carolina. The work necessitated by the unexpected mechanical failure is ongoing. Based on updated operating conditions at the station, including a partial reinstatement of physical flow, the following capacity adjustments are effective ID1 Cycle for Gas Day November 19, 2024, and continuing until further notice: 900001 – James Massey Hub Lane 1 – Zero Non-Firm900002 – James Massey Hub Lane 2 – Zero Non-FirmTCO will provide updates as additional information becomes available. Please continue to monitor critical notices and the Daily Capacity Posting for any adjustments related to this Force Majeure. Reservation charge credits (RCCs) will be determined per the process set forth in the General Terms and Conditions, Section 38 of TCO’s FERC Gas Tariff (“Tariff”). However, TCO will only issue RCCs if TCO is unable to schedule or deliver primary firm nominated capacity as a result of the Force Majeure for a period greater than ten consecutive days. In the event RCCs are issued as set forth in the Tariff, shippers will receive RCCs based on its 7-day average usage quantity less any scheduled quantities on the contact. Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC (TCO) notifies customers of an unexpected and uncontrollable mechanical failure at the James Massey Hub meter station in Northampton County, North Carolina that has created an inability to serve that could not be prevented or overcome by the due diligence of TCO. Therefore, pursuant to Section 15 of the General Terms and Conditions of TCO’s FERC Gas Tariff, TCO is declaring a Force Majeure effective for Gas Day Thursday, October 31, 2024. Currently, TCO is unable to receive physical flow at meters 900001 and 900002. In an effort to minimize the immediate impact to scheduled volumes, there will be no capacity restrictions through Gas Day November 1, 2024. Effective Timely Cycle for Gas Day Saturday, November 2, 2024, and continuing until further notice, the following meters will be reduced to zero total capacity: 900001 – James Massey Hub Lane 1900002 – James Massey Hub Lane 2Based on recent scheduled volumes, the total impact to firm service is less than 1,000 Dth/day. TCO will provide updates as additional information becomes available. Please continue to monitor critical notices and the Daily Capacity Posting for any adjustments related to this Force Majeure.
