Subject: Initial Force Majeure – Line 1600 |
Initial Force Majeure – Line 1600 – Mainline Valve Repair – Casa Grande B to Wenden
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has determined that a mainline valve on Line 1600 will need to be replaced requiring the isolation of the pipeline downstream of its Casa Grande B Compressor Station, located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Accordingly, the operational capacity through the HP 8 constraint will be reduced by 563,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective October 26, 2024, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1) through October 31, 2024.
EPNG will post an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the HP 8 constraint.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
