Subject: Initial Force Majeure - Line 1100 |
Initial Force Majeure – Line 1100 – Anomaly Repairs – Pecos River to Guadalupe
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has identified anomalies on Line 1100 downstream of its Pecos River Compressor Station, located in Eddy County, New Mexico and Culberson County, Texas. The repairs will require a pressure restriction and isolation with a corresponding reduction in operational capacity.
Accordingly, the operational capacity through the PECOS constraint will be reduced by 132,631 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective October 24, 2024, Evening Cycle, (Cycle 2). The operational capacity through the GUADLUP constraint will be reduced by 91,236 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective October 24, 2024, Evening Cycle, (Cycle 2).
EPNG will post an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the PECOS and GUADLUP constraints. This reduction in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
