Notice Text:
Saltville Gas Storage Company L.L.C. (SGSC) has experienced an unplanned outage at its facility due to the loss of commercial power during Tropical Depression Helene. The unplanned outage limits SGSC's injection capability to approximately 15,000 Dth/d.
The loss of commercial power does not impact SGSC's withdrawal capabilities.
Due to existing system conditions, at this time, no incremental restrictions are required for Gas Day September 27 or Gas Day September 28. However, SGSC has scheduled and sealed injection activity for Gas Day September 27 and September 28. No increases to injection nominations will be accepted regardless of nomination priority for Gas Day September 27 and Gas Day September 28.
SGSC will continue to monitor the return to service efforts of electricity to its facility, however initial indications suggest SGSC potentially may have commercial power restored during Gas Day September 28. To the extent electricity is not restored to the facility and system conditions dictate the need for injections greater than its capability, SGSC may be required to curtail nominations scheduled for Gas Day Saturday September 28 and until further notice.
SGSC will keep its customers informed as restoration efforts proceed.
