Notice Text:
As previously posted, Saltville Gas Storage Company L.L.C. (SGSC) has experienced an unplanned outage at its facility due to the loss of commercial power during Tropical Depression Helene. The unplanned outage limits SGSC's injection capability to approximately 15,000 Dth/d. The loss of commercial power does not impact SGSC's withdrawal capabilities.
At this time, SGSC does not have commercial power available at its facility. The local power company indicates that commercial power may be restored during Gas Day September 29. To the extent electricity is not restored to the facility and system conditions dictate the need for injections greater than its capability, SGSC may be required to curtail nominations scheduled for Gas Day September 29 and until further notice. However, based on current system conditions, curtailments are not anticipated for Gas Day September 29.
SGSC will keep its customers informed as restoration efforts proceed.
