Carolina Gas Transmission (CGT) will be doing the following pipeline work from April 1st, 2025, through April 30th, 2025.
Line Outages of the following pipe segments will involve controlled releases of natural gas. These outages are not expected to affect firm transportation but may impact IT and secondary FT.
- Approximately 14 miles of 8" line between Stations 12-050 and 12-060 in Lexington County, SC was taken out of service July 18th 2022 and it's return to service date is unknown at this time.
- Approximately 13 miles of 6" line between Stations 13-010 and 13-070 in Darlington County, SC was taken out of service January 11th 2023 and it's return to service date is unknown at this time.
Compressor Station maintenance activities at the following facility may involve controlled releases of natural gas.
Southern Compressor Station in Aiken County, SC has a scheduled outage of two compressors that started December 16th, 2024. Based on current operating conditions, this outage will not affect firm transportation, secondary firm transportation or interruptible services during this period.
Edgemoor Compressor Station in Chester County, SC had an unscheduled outage starting March 6th, 2025. Based on current operating conditions, this outage will not affect firm transportation, secondary firm transportation or interruptible services during this period.
Grover Compressor Station in Cherokee County, SC had an unscheduled outage starting March 21st, 2025. Based on current operating conditions, this outage will not affect firm transportation, secondary firm transportation or interruptible services during this period.
Bethune Compressor Station in Kershaw County, SC had an unscheduled outage starting March 25th, 2025. Based on current operating conditions, this outage will not affect firm transportation, secondary firm transportation or interruptible services during this period.
In-Line Inspections will be performed on the following line segments and will involve controlled releases of natural gas. This inspection is not expected to affect firm transportation but may impact secondary firm transportation and interruptible services.
Week of March 31st
- Approximately .34 miles of 12" line between Stations 11-000 in Cherokee County, SC and 11-012 in Cherokee County, SC.
- Approximately 3.2 miles of 24" line between Stations 12-070 in Richland County, SC and 12-069 in Lexington County, SC.
Week of April15th
- Approximately 54.8 miles of 12" line between Stations 21-280 in Spartanburg County, SC and 21-380 in Greenwood County, SC.
Week of April 21st
- Approximately 45 miles of 16" line between Stations 11-175 in Chester County, SC and 18-000 in Kershaw County, SC.
