Subject: Operational Alert - Imbalance Management / AutoPAL Balances

Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC (TCO) is issuing the following Operational Alert effective Sunday, January 19, 2025. Based on forecasted extreme cold temperatures and increased market demand, TCO projects limited operational flexibility for negative imbalances or negative AutoPAL balances. As a result, TCO is updating its AutoPAL limits effective with the Evening Cycle for Gas Day Sunday, January 19, 2025, and continuing until further notice: AutoPAL Parks: 25,000 DthAutoPAL Loans: 3,000 Dth These limits will be applied to each pool (P10, SPP, A06, etc.) beginning with the Evening Cycle for each Gas Day. Any AutoPAL quantities in excess of the posted limits will be force balanced based on each pool’s rankings. Customers are encouraged to update their pool rankings accordingly. TCO reminds customers that Due Shipper imbalance payback remains unavailable across the system. TCO will monitor AutoPAL and imbalance activity for abuse, and reserves the right to make AutoPAL unavailable, force balance pools, post an underperformance notice, and/or declare a customer specific OFO, if necessary.
