Initial Force Majeure – Line 1600 – Anomaly Repair – Casa Grande B to Wenden
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has identified an anomaly on Line 1600 downstream of its Casa Grande B Compressor Station, located in Maricopa County, Arizona. The repair will require a pressure restriction and isolation with a corresponding reduction in operational capacity.
Accordingly, the operational capacity through the HP 8 constraint will be reduced by 554,600 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective September 10, 2024, Evening Cycle, (Cycle 2).
EPNG will post an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the HP 8 constraint. This reduction in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
