Subject: Initial Force Majeure - Amarillo Station |
Force Majeure – Amarillo Station
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has experienced an equipment failure associated with its Amarillo Compressor Station located in Randall County, Texas, and as such the station is currently unavailable. Accordingly, the operational capacity through the AMAR N constraint will be reduced by an additional 97,594 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective on January 19, 2025, Intraday 1 Cycle, (Cycle 3). The operational capacity through the AMAR S constraint will be reduced by an additional 106,590 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective on January 19, 2025, Intraday 1 Cycle, (Cycle 3). EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the AMAR N and AMAR S constraints.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
