Equitrans, LP is notifying customers on its Transmission pipeline system in Mainline Operational Area 4 that due to Downstream Pipeline Gas
Quality specifications Equitrans may no longer permit gas that contains a heating value greater than 1,100 Btus per cubic foot calculated on a
dry basis at 14.73 psia and 60 degree Fahrenheit at receipt points to flow into Mainline Operational Area 4.
This action is pursuant to Section 6.4 [2(vii)] of the General Terms and Conditions of Equitrans’ FERC Gas Tariff. If, at any time, gas tendered by
Customer for transportation or by Equitrans after transportation shall fail to conform to the aforementioned quality specifications and, Equitrans is
unable to blend the gas before it is delivered to the downstream pipelines, Equitrans will refuse to accept delivery pending correction of the
deficiency by the delivering party.
Customers should monitor Equitrans’ Informational Postings website for updates to this notice.
