The Gas Quality issue on Midwestern Gas Transmission Company (MGT) has been resolved at the Channahon receipt point. Capacity at this receipt point has been restored and is increased from 30,000 DTH to 346,500 Dth DTH effective Gas Day, Monday, October 14, 2024, ID1 Cycle.

Midwestern Gas Transmission Company (MGT) is receiving gas exceeding the total heating value limits in its tariff at the Channahon receipt point. Therefore, per Part 8 Section 2.4 of the General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) of its FERC approved tariff, MGT is decreasing receipts from Channahon effective gas day Monday, October 7, 2024, ID 2 Cycle. This reduction will continue until further notice when the gas quality issue has been resolved.
Capacity at this receipt point will be reduced from 346,500 DTH to 30,000 DTH effective gas day, Monday, October 7, 2024, ID 2 Cycle.
MGT will continue to work with the point operator and will update via Informational Postings when this situation changes.
