Update May 22/15

 

Due to the current flows exceeding the capacity on the 12" Suffield Lateral, all IT service will be removed on the following meter stations effective May 22nd, 2015 at 20:00 MST.  Further updates will be provided once more information is available.

Update: May 21/15

 

NGTL has isolated the impacted section of 12" Suffield Lateral, completed temporary repairs, and is returning portions of the pipeline back to service. The NIL order for six receipt meter stations (Roseglen, Bowmanton East, Bowmanton, Bowmanton West, Bowmanton South and Dunmore) will be lifted effective May 21st , 2015 at 20:00 MST.

Update:

As per the notice below a leak has been confirmed as the cause of the reduction in natural pressure on the Suffield Lateral Pipeline. Investigation continues and the duration of the outage remains unknown at this time.

At approximately 10:42 p.m. MDT on May 11, 2015, TransCanada's Gas Control Centre detected a reduction in natural gas pressure on its Suffield Lateral line.

This section of 12-inch natural gas pipeline has been safely isolated and the following meter stations have been nilled:

1.       ROSEGLEN - #1885

2.       BOWMANTON EAST - #1842

3.       BOWMANTON - #1216

4.       BOWMANTON WEST - #1237

5.       BOWMANTON SOUTH - #1204

6.       DUNMORE -#1220

 

Investigation is currently ongoing and more information will be provided once available.
