Clearwater C/S Unplanned Maintenance
Notice Text
On June 26, an NrG bulletin was
issued advising NGTL System customers of an unplanned interruption resulting in
unplanned maintenance at the Clearwater compressor station. The location
of this station is significant to receipt capability upstream of James River
and some downstream delivery points.
The duration for the unplanned maintenance at Clearwater is
under assessment and the current FT-R restriction upstream of James River will
be required on an ongoing basis until further notice. As a result, FT-R
allowable upstream of James River will continue to be limited to 95% until
Monday, July 13, 2015 @ 08:00 MST.
All upcoming planned outages are now under review and
updates will be provided through subsequent bulletins and the Short Term
Operational Plan (STOP). Updates for specific impacts will be issued
shortly including the following restrictions:
Effective July 13
2015 @ 08:00 MST allowable FT-R upstream of James River will be limited to 90%.
Effective July 13
2015 @ 08:00 MST the capability at the Alberta BC border will be reduced from
45 106m3/d to 42 106m3/d.
Maintenance at the Clearwater compressor station will
include remediation of the two units and is currently expected to be complete by
October 2015 subject to further assessment.
All reasonable efforts are being taken to maximize both
receipt and delivery capability.
As part of its ongoing series of operational meetings with
customers, NGTL will schedule its next customer meeting shortly. If you
require immediate assistance, please contact the TransCanada Call Centre at
1.403.920.PIPE (7473) or Toll-free at 1.877.920.PIPE (7473).
