October 18, 2024 Sea Robin West Notice of Force Majeure
On October 10, 2024, Sea Robin Pipeline Company, LLC (Sea Robin) posted an operational alert informing shippers on the Sea Robin West system of operational constraints requiring Sea Robin West to schedule deliveries to match the actual level of flow and requiring shippers on the Sea Robin West system to match receipts into the system to confirmed downstream deliveries. This notice and declaration of a Force Majeure is intended to provide additional information regarding the operational constraints noted in the October 10 posting. On October 8, 2024, a third party provider of dehydration services for all volumes of natural gas transported on the Sea Robin West system, informed Sea Robin that the dehydration services would only be available daily between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and possibly unavailable over weekends. Gas quality specifications of downstream parties are such that gas originating from the Sea Robin West system must be dehydrated prior to delivery to downstream parties. To guard against the potential for the Sea Robin West system to exceed its maximum allowable operating pressure and to avoid the resulting automatic shut in of production on the system, Sea Robin is adjusting flows on the Sea Robin West system to match the volume of gas that is dehydrated and thus capable of downstream delivery. Accordingly, Sea Robin will be assessing daily flow capability to ensure scheduled and confirmed volumes match the physical flow of gas from Sea Robin West into the downstream parties. Shippers should monitor scheduled volumes to ensure production and delivery of gas into the Sea Robin West system are consistent with such scheduled volumes. Updates to this posting will be made as they become available.
