Eastern Triangle Pipeline System Maintenance Jan 22 to Feb 2

Notice Text

In-line inspections will be conducted on the NPS 24 Montreal Line in the Eastern Triangle pipeline system from Gas Days Jan 22nd to Feb 2nd inclusive. The maintenance is required to be conducted during this period for appropriate flow conditions and to prepare for summer remediation work to ensure firm services can be met for the following winter 2025/26 season.

Firm services to the Eastern Delivery Area (EDA) and downstream export points are not anticipated to be impacted. Similar to the most recent EDA ILI from Jan 7th to Jan 12th, depending on demand levels, discretionary services may be limited past the Union/Enbridge/KPUC/Napanee EDAs to downstream locations ie. Iroquois and East Hereford.

EDA capacity is expected to be approximately 3450 TJ for the maintenance period and will be reflected in the Jan 16, 2025 Maintenance Capacity postings.

Dates are subject to change and will be communicated as required.

Following this maintenance, one additional set of in-line inspections is planned for the NPS 24 Montreal Line in the Eastern Triangle pipeline system for the 2025 winter season.  TC will communicate details of these activities, and any customer impacts, as soon as timing is confirmed.
