ETNG Hourly Customer Specific Operational Flow Order
EAST TENNESSEE NATURAL GAS, LLC (ETNG) projects excessive hourly due pipe imbalances on its system. ETNG does not have the operational flexibility to continue to manage these imbalances.
Therefore, in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system, ETNG is issuing an hourly customer specific Balancing Alert Operational Flow Order (OFO) pursuant to Section 14.7 of the General Terms and Conditions of ETNG's FERC Gas Tariff effective September 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Central Clock Time for certain LMSMA balancing parties. ETNG will be contacting the affected parties.
This OFO does not affect the ability of ETNG to receive or deliver quantities of gas for scheduled nominations to any customer, storage field, or pipeline.
Notified balancing parties will be charged in accordance to the penalty provisions under Section 47.5(b) of the General Terms and Conditions of ETNG's FERC Gas Tariff shall apply for each hour that each dekatherm of actual delivery quantities are greater than day-ending scheduled delivery quantities divided by 24 multiplied by 1.4 (i.e. 40% tolerance), or 50 dekatherms (whichever is greater).
In addition, ETNG will not permit retroactive nominations to avoid an OFO penalty except for shippers who can secure day ending Due Pipe supply.
This hourly Balancing Alert OFO will remain in effect until 9:00 AM CCT, October 10, 2024.
Please contact your Operations Account Representative should you have any questions.
