EDI Confirmation Enhancement at Brookfield Interconnect- Effective April 1, 2025
Beginning Timely Cycle, Gas Day April 1, 2025, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) will be implemented for confirmations at the Brookfield Interconnect with Algonquin Gas Transmission. The EDI process will validate volumes for confirmations at the meters listed below based on Service Requester, Upstream/Downstream (Up/Dn) Name, and Up/Dn Contract.
To prevent unanticipated reductions, shippers must ensure that all nominations at the interconnect are accurately matched for all Up/Dn Contract combinations.

Required Nomination Changes – Iroquois Online
Effective for Timely Cycle, Gas Day April 1, 2025, all nominations at the Brookfield Interconnect must include the complete Off-System Up/Dn contract number in the Up/Dn K field, replacing any previously used mnemonics.
When submitting nominations, please ensure:
1. The complete Off-System Up/Dn K contract number is entered in the appropriate Up/Dn K field.
2. Contract numbers match exactly with the contract numbers in the Enbridge LINK system.
3. No abbreviations or mnemonics are used in place of the complete contract number.
Failure to use the proper Off-System Up/Dn contract format may result in nomination rejections or unmatched confirmations
Iroquois will be deploying computer system changes on Monday, March 24, 2025 to accommodate these required nomination changes.
