Subject: FORCE MAJEURE - VICKSBURG CS (MEP4) |
FORCE MAJEURE – VICKSBURG COMPRESSOR STATION (MEP 4)
Due to the recent storm event and after further investigation by the provider of commercial power, MEP has experienced loss of power at its Vicksburg Compressor Station (MEP 4) located in Hinds County, Mississippi. This is a Force Majeure event, resulting in the need to make immediate repairs, and will also require MEP to restrict throughput capacity and reduce the maximum operating capacity eastbound through Segment 200 from Zone 1.
The scheduling constraint will be in Segment 200; therefore, any gas received west of Segment 200 for delivery east of Segment 200 will be impacted for the duration of the restriction. As such, effective for gas day Tuesday, December 31, 2024, Timely Cycle, and continuing until further notice, MEP will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 81% of contract MDQ through Segment 200.
The actual scheduling percentage will depend on the level of nominations received during this restriction. AOR/ITS and Secondary-out-of-path Firm transport services will not be available during this force majeure event. Additionally, park and loan services under Rate Schedule PALS will not be available in Zone 2, only.
Please contact your Account Director or Scheduling Representative if you have any questions.
