FORCE MAJEURE – COMPRESSOR STATION 343 – UPDATE 2
Update to outage completion date as noted below. See previous Notice ID 45343 dated August 22, 2024.
Natural has experienced a unit outage at Compressor Station 343 (CS 343) located in Liberty County, Texas (Segment 25 of Natural's Texok Zone). This is a Force Majeure event requiring emergent repairs. Natural is required to reduce the maximum operating capacity eastbound into Segment 25 at Compressor Station 302 (CS 302), from Segment 26 and Segment 22, thus limiting Natural's throughput capacity eastbound through CS 302 during this restriction. As Natural continues to progress with the repair work, we are providing notice to our Shippers of the anticipated completion date, as noted below.
The scheduling constraint will be at CS 302; therefore, any gas received west of CS 302 for delivery east of CS 302 will be impacted for the duration of the restriction. The Pooling Point - Texok Zone (LOC 10560) is located west of the constraint. Firm transportation associated with storage injections or withdrawals may be impacted.
As such, effective for gas day Monday, August 19, 2024, Intraday 1 Cycle, Natural will not schedule any nominated increase. Beginning Tuesday, gas day August 20, 2024, Timely Cycle and anticipated to continue through gas day Tuesday, September 17, 2024, (previously Monday, September 30, 2024), Natural will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 75% of contract MDQ through CS 302. AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available for the duration of this restriction. The stated scheduling percentage is based upon the current level of firm capacity contracted for during this restriction and is subject to change based upon operational conditions and Shipper utilization.
