Angleton to Mt. Belvieu Operational Advisory
Notice Text:
On September 16, 2024, a third-party pipeline, located in the same right of way as Texas Eastern's (TE) Line 16 between its Angleton and Mt. Belvieu compressor stations, experienced a pipeline incident. As a precautionary measure, TE has isolated and reduced its pressure in the pipeline segment adjacent to the incident location until TE can confirm it is safe to return to normal service.
Effective for Gas Day September 17, TE will not allow any increases to west to east nominations flowing through the Angleton to Mt. Belvieu Valve Section 4 segment. In addition, TE will take into consideration the reduced capacity during the timely cycles for future gas days starting with Gas Day September 18, 2024. TE will work with meter operators in the area to minimize nomination restrictions to the extent these point operators are able to provide operational assistance.
TE will post any updates to the status of Line 16's return to service as soon as it is known.
Please contact your Operations Account Representative if you have any questions.
