Notice Text:
Subject: System Operating Conditions
Below normal temperatures and increased system demand is forecasted across the Transco system beginning this coming weekend and extending into next week. Transco is evaluating its Weather Resiliency Plan and will continue to monitor and update as things progress. Due to system conditions and expected high system utilization, Transco has determined that daily and hourly flexibility may be limited.
Additionally, Transco will not allow retroactive nominations during this period. The availability of retro scheduling activity will be indicated on the Operational Flow Order (OFO) critical notice via 1Line as applicable.
During periods of high system utilization, excess daily and hourly deliveries from Transco’s System may cause reduced pressures in various areas of the system and jeopardize Transco’s ability to meet its firm service obligations. Transco requests that all delivery location operators, to the extent possible, receive gas from Transco within contractual and/or Delivery Point Entitlements (Section 19 of the General Terms and Conditions of Transco’s Tariff) and on a uniform hourly flow basis.
Receipt locations that are under-performing and not flowing the confirmed scheduled quantity will be subject to reductions that align actual flowing quantities with confirmed scheduled quantities.
