    Subject: Update - Compressor Station 190 MLC Unplanned Outage

    Due to a valve failure that resulted in a leak an unexpected operational issue, Transco had to immediately isolate a portion of Mainline C between the Potomac River and Station 190 near MP 1610.  Additional updates and a more accurate return to service timeline will be provided as more information becomes available. Work to repair the valve and return this segment to service is underway and the anticipated to return to service on January 31, 2025.

     

    Transco does not expect any impacts from this outage. However, operating conditions resulting from the outage may necessitate managing capacity availability for all transportation services moving north to south for the TSB listed below. Transactions moving south to north through this location will remain unaffected.

     

    The receipt-based Throughput Section Boundary (TSB) at mainline milepost 1628.78 will be used to manage capacity availability including any required changes to the expected total quantity available during this unplanned outage. An updated Market and Production Area constraint notice will include the location and the available quantity of transportation services.
