OFO Watch: Southwest Area (Fuel Segment ML4) (Posted 1/16/25)
Notice to All ANR Southwest Area (Zone 4) Shippers and Producers, Effective Saturday, January 18th, through Wednesday, January 22nd.
Due to expected cold temperatures in its Southwest Area (Zone 4) for the next several days, ANR would like to notify all shippers and producers that physical flow quantities at its receipt locations must match scheduled quantities. ANR will be closely monitoring flow quantities during this time period and any location that is not able to physically meet its scheduled quantities will need to adjust their nomination(s) to match actual physical flow quantities.
ANR is NOT declaring an Operational Flow Order (OFO) at this time but is providing "Advance Warning" to shippers (per §6.8.7 of its FERC Gas Tariff) that this weather event could create the need for ANR to issue an OFO with no additional prior notice to protect system integrity. Actions that may be necessary include, but are not limited to, further curtailing interruptible services, declining to schedule firm secondary nominations, and issuing an offending Shipper specific OFO, or issuing a non-Shipper specific OFO. ANR will continue to monitor system integrity closely and will update the EBB as required.
